For the Hujjaaj

Allaah said,

“And Hajj to the House is a duty that mankind owes to Allaah, for those who are able to undertake the journey and whoever disbelieves, then Allaah stands not in need of any of the `Aalameen.”

3:97

This Ayah established the obligation of performing Hajj. There are many ahaadeeth that mention it as one of the pillars and fundamentals of Islaam and this is agreed upon by the Muslims. According to texts and the consensus of the scholars, it is only obligatory for the adult Muslim to perform it once during his lifetime.

{Tafseer Ibn Katheer}

“That they may witness  (i.e attend) benefits for themselves and mention the Name of Allaah on known days over what He has provided for them of (sacrificial) animals…”
Al Hajj:28

Shaykh Saalih al Fawzaan: In other words, the people are the beneficiaries of Hajj, not Allaah, because Allaah is free from need of the worlds. Allaah is by no means in need of the pilgrims, unlike the pilgrims who are in need of the Lord to glorify and worship.
It is the people who need Allaah, so they come to visit His House seeking His Aide to satisfy their needs. Hajj has a magnificent reward; On the authority of ‘Abdullaah bin Mas’ood (radhiyallaahu ‘anhumaa): “Perform Hajj and ‘Umrah making them follow each other, for they remove poverty and sins as a blacksmith bellows removes impurities from iron, gold and silver. And an accepted performance of Hajj gets no reward less than Paradise.” {A traceable hadeeth deemed saheeh by at Tirmidhee}
{Mulakhkhas al Fiqh Vol. #1}

With that being said, I pray that Allaah has aided you, satisfied your needs and accepted your Hajj.
