  2. Wa ‘alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh. Aameen, wa laki kadhaalik.

Boys – I can’t share a personal experience but I heard the Furqaan Center has an excellent program. I know several sisters that send their sons, Alhamdulillaah. Darrah Mubarrah is close to you as well.

Boys & Girls – I’m inclined to Daarul Haafithaat. The kids learn ‘Arabic, a lil bit of English, they exercise in the morning before classes, of course there’s tahfeeth and short ahaadeeth memorization. Based on what I observed as a student and what I saw from my friends children, they get a bit of practical knowledge as well.

    D. Haafithaat thread #1thread #2.
    D. al Mubarrah contact info.

I love the tahfeeth schools here, Alhamdulillaah. Most are set up for the mothers to attend at the same time as the children. You’re there if they need you. Tabaarakallaah.

I’ll try to grab a newspaper today In Shaa Allaah and post more info on school openings. I’m in Salaamah too. We’ll keep in touch In Shaa Allaah.

  3. Assalaamu alaikum warahamtullahi wabarakatuh..jazakaAllahu khayr sister Haneefa for this information, now is safa district close enough? being a newbie if i don’t see salamah district then its “elswhere” how do i get to these places? will a cab driver know if i just said the name of the place?
    jazakaAllahu khayr again
    umm mustafa

  4. Wa ‘alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh. Safaa is about 4 districts over from us. Not close but not far either. You can opt. to take D.H’s school bus. Call for fees as they may have changed since I last blogged about them.

The district is pretty well-known, however, finding the EXACT location of the school may be a problem in a taxi. I’ll E-mail you directions In Shaa Allaah.

  5. Assalaamu alaikum warahamatullahi wabarakatuh..BarakaAllahu feek sister Haneefa..i would really appreciate the directions and i’d love to stay in touch too. You don’t by any chance live near Quraish street do u?
