  1. as salaamu alaiki,

Subhaana Allaah, this is very good news indeed, wal hamdulillaah.

So, does the University offer a student visa? If so, is there a medical exam requirement, similar to that of the working visa?

    Baarak Allaahu feeki,
    Umm Abdillaah

  2. Wa ‘alaikis salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuh. No, visas will not be issued. This program is for sisters presently residing here.

Medical exams? I do not have in-depth details. Give them a call, In Shaa Allaah.

    Wa feeki baarakallaah.

  3. Update from our sister in Islaam: The classes are free. New students have started their 2ND week in the ma’had, so they might tell you to start the next semester. There is also a daycare in a masjid close to the university where they hold children for 200SR a month.

  4. Asalaamu alaikum sisters,

    jazakAllah for the information.
Is there any news about the online arabic courses and are they open to women?. And how easy is it to go there regularly from jeddah? are all your contacts living in makkah. And are the requirements the same as if you were applying from abroad?. I hope u dont mind sis.
    jazakAllah

  5. Wa ‘alaikis salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh.

No updates regarding the on-line courses.

Traveling from Jeddah to Makkah – It is fairly easy from what I’ve been told (carpooling, family drop-offs, etc.) The drive is not long at all.

Contacts – Yes, they all live in Makkah.

    Requirements – I don’t know, Wallaahu Aa’lam.

A sister told me that the daycare is located in “Masjid Ummul Quraa,” (not its actual name).
