"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don’t know whether after this year I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.”
“O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allaah has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived.”
“Beware of Shaytaan for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.”
“O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery.”
“O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allaah, say your five daily prayers (Salaah), fast during the month of Ramadhaan, and give your wealth in Zakaat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. You know that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. You are all equal. Nobody has superiority over other except by piety and good action. Remember, one day you will appear before Allaah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not astray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.”
“O People, no Prophet or Messenger will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur’aan and my example – the Sunnah – and if you follow these you will never go astray.“
“All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, Oh Allaah, that I have conveyed your message to your people.”

as-Salamy alaykum wa ra7matullah wa barakatuhu,
I know this message is 2 years old, but today I found a similar page on effat university’s website but it did not have any details.
If you still in Saudi arabia, do you know how is this program, have you heard echos about it? And is it possible for foreign muslim girls to come study there (with authorization of mahram)?
Sorry for so much questions nut you’re first person’s blog that has any inormations about what I have been looking for , for a long time.
BarakaAllahu fik ukhti.
Wa ‘alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh dear sister. I will give them a call on your behalf after ‘Eidul Adhdhaa In Shaa Allaah (all schools are closed till then). I don’t have any feedback regarding their program, ‘afwan. I’ll update you ASAP. I appreciate your nice comment and for having patience with me as I am a bit busy at the moment.
Wa feeki baarakallaah.
Anny – there are so many programs available Kingdom-wide, Subhaanallaah. Unfortunately most go unnoticed or close due to lack of participation. I will compile a list of schools that offer low-cost or free literacy programs for girls and women starting at age 12 (Allaahu Aa’lam). You will have a sixth grade education in the ‘Arabic language upon completion. You will learn to read, write and speak of course. Other subjects such as math (yes, in Arabic) will be covered as well. Not bad…not bad at all.
And with Allaah lies all success.
As-Salamu alaykum wa rahmatuAllah wa barakatuhu,
thank you so much for your answer, it’s so sweet of you to call them! Because I live in Europe and can’t have inside information easily. I intend to come during summer to begin with a program. I’ll be waiting for the gathered informations, thank you so much!!!!barakallahu feeki.
Al-salam alaikum!
I am a foreign female student studying engineering in Jeddah. I have been looking for Arabic Language Programs or affordable private tuition offered in Jeddah, but they were very hard to find. I found your blog, and big thanks for all the generous information you have provided here!
Just want to quote a sentence from your reply: “I will compile a list of schools that offer low-cost or free literacy programs for girls and women starting at age 12 (Allaahu Aa’lam).” —– I really look forward to seeing your list! If you already have compiled them, could you possibly let me know?
Shukran jazeelan!
